Hi, I’m Jessi

The face behind the flowers. I never imagined in a million years this is where my life would take me. I’ve always had a small hobby garden, but over the years it has vastly grown along with the realization that flowers are another impactful way for me to help others by spreading kindness and joy.

I seek to magnify the beauty of even the smallest of details and amplify the enchantment of nature in my design process. I love the way a sweet pea tendril curls around it’s trellis, the way a cosmo happily dances with just a slight breeze, and the impact of those details on one’s emotions when brought to light.

Outside of flowers, I have a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Jacksonville University and worked full-time for 5 years in a skilled nursing facility helping patients with cognitive, swallowing, voice and communication disorders. Advocating for those who have difficulty communicating for themselves will always be a passion of mine. I have two pups, Lucy & Lola, who I’ll be forever chasing out of the flower beds.

The Gardens

Shady Spring was the street my sister, best friend and I used to live on together. It was one of the happiest times of my life. I wanted to honor those memories and our friendship in some way, so here we are.

Between my home garden and expanded growing space next door, I organically grow seasonal, specialty cut flowers on approximately 3,000 combined sq. ft. using sustainable practices mainly for retail customers and offer wholesale to other florists by the bunch or bucket when available. Check out the shop page or email me for current floral offerings.

Colors, textures and style always vary with the seasons. Curious about what’s currently in bloom? Check out the bloom calendar!
